In 2011, Valcour teamed up with the Archives of Cajun and Creole Folklore at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette to create this first of what will be many musical releases. The first installment of this Rubber Bootleg Series features selected recordings from the 2002 Festivals Acadiens et Créoles and features artsits such as Wayne Toups, Steve Riley, Jo-El Sonnier, Balfa Toujours and more.
We are featuring tracks from this album as our December Artist of the Month feature because this collection is just too great for Cajun music lovers to miss out on.
